May of 2016, I made my long awaited trip to the United States to be with my husband. We had been married a little over a year and a half for what seemed like an eternity of anxiousness, stress, being impatient, sleepless nights, waiting to finally getting my VISA and joining my husband in the U.S.A. It was a dream I thought would never materialize, finally being with the man I love and spending the rest of my life with him.

My first flight and bound to America with my husband. It had already been a long morning. I didn't get much rest the day before as we had family and friends gathering to say their good byes. Hey, it was hard to sleep with all that God was doing.
One year later we had our first child, a daughter name Yahtai, 2017. We had our second child, a son name Yafeh in 2018 and then our third child, a daughter name Yah-Adele in 2020. With each pregnancy, it prolonged our visit to Haiti to see my mom and dad and then the Covic 19 Pandemic broke out that furthered delayed our travels to see my parents.

After 4yrs in America, we welcomed 3 adorable kids in our lives. Yafeh, Yahtai and Yah-Adele. Praise The Most High!
Each year my moms health began to deteriorate. Not being able to properly control her diabetes quickly took a toll on her body. Her blood pressure became of great concern and her heart began to weaken.

Me with my beautiful mom and church family in Haiti. My mom was one of the pillars of our church and always involved in the lives of her family and others.
My mom would have 2 heart attacks, 3 strokes, 2 comas and a leg amputated within the 4 1/2 years. So many nights I cried, not knowing I would ever see my mom again and her seeing her grand kids. My husband and I prayed that God would sustain her life so that she could see her grand kids and I see her.

After 2 heart attacks, and 3 strokes, I thought I would loose my mom but God gave us a miracle. Her right leg would eventually be amputated but surprisingly, my mom is being strong in spite of these set backs. I believe God is keeping her around for me and her grandkids. It is time to go see my mom.
Beginning of the first week of January, I woke up with a strong urge to go to Haiti and see my mom and dad. I woke up my husband and just said, "Sweetie, I HAVE to go see my mom. He saw the seriousness of my expression and we prayed and began planning. At this point, it didn't matter the cost, we knew we just had to go. We are going to Haiti. Hallelujah! I can't wait to share part 2 of this incredible testimony!
Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.
For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
Ps 33:1-4
